I decided it was time to rectify this tragic situation and based on feedback from several testers, I went and purchased the following books:
Perfect Software and Other Illusions about Testing
The Secrets of Consulting
Weinberg on Writing: The Fieldstone Method
Understand, I'm nowhere near ready to review any of these titles. I just started them, but I will state that Gerry has a writing style that draws you in and make you feel comfortable reading quickly, and for a technical author, that's no small feat!
Stay tuned in the coming weeks, because after I finish my chapter by chapter review of "How We Test Software at Microsoft", these will be in the pole position to be part of my next set of book reviews.
